Heiwadai Athletic Stadium (平和台陸上競技場) is an athletic stadium in Fukuoka, Fukuoka, Japan. It is a historic sports venue located directly within the ancient Fukuoka Castle ruins in Chuo Ward, Fukuoka, Japan. Built in 1948 to host the 3rd National Sports Festival, the stadium has long served as a core pillar of the prefecture's athletic culture. Today, it is widely known as the sacred "Holy Land" and permanent start/finish line of the prestigious Fukuoka International Marathon.
